Volunteer Center Now Open

The United Way of Tri-County is pleased to announce a new addition to its list of  programs and services. On July 5, the Volunteer Center was opened for business.
The United Way of Tri-County Volunteer Center connects corporations and employees with volunteer opportunities to help people in need. The volunteer center supports non-profit organizations to partner effectively with volunteers, develop volunteer leaders, and impassion advocates for volunteerism in the community. We help corporations and their employees help others.

To get connected, contact our Volunteer Center.  We will match your skills and interests with causes that are important to you and the community.

Give an Hour. Give a Saturday.

You will find plenty of variety among the volunteer opportunities available, such as:
  • Working with all generations
  • Working indoors or out
  • Working with computers, homework or crafts – the possibilities are endless.
Volunteering is fun, fulfilling, and an event you will look forward to week after week, month after month, or year after year. It’s easy to get involved.

Be the Change

Most volunteers claim that volunteering benefit them as much as it benefits those being served. Volunteering can change your perspective as you use your talents to better yourself and your community.
  • We engage business leaders in building a stronger community.
  • We support workplace volunteer programs.
  • We organize group volunteer activities for employees.
  • We build the capacity of non-profit organizations through training and consultative services.
