Backpack Drive
The United Way of Tri-County is running our annual back-to-school backpack program!
The program is a combined effort between area businesses and employees to provide backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year. Over the past 3 years the program has distributed over 1,000 backpacks to area kids in elementary, middle and high school.
It’s easy to get involved. You can either purchase school supplies and/or a backpack for the program, or for $20 the United Way supplies students with their own backpack filled with supplies.
You can also help by volunteering to help put supplies and backpacks together. To find out more, contact:

Backpacks will be assembled on Aug 10 and distributed to agencies on August 11 & 12.
