Strengthening Youth in a United Way (SYUW) is a direct service program of the United Way of Tri-County that partners with the Framingham Public Schools and community stakeholders to promote healthy adolescent behaviors, reduce teen pregnancy, and develop strategies for a successful life. SYUW supports the goals of the Framingham Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition.
SYUW serves:
- Youth ranging from adolescence to young adults
- Parents / guardians and family members of adolescents
- Pregnant and parenting adolescents
Through school-based services, working with the community, and volunteer opportunities, SYUW helps to provide education for making healthy choices, promote healthy relationship development, and connect adolescents and young adults with available resources to ensure success.
