Community Support Process

The United Way of Tri-County funds 501(c)3 tax-exempt organizations--providing service to the MetroWest/495 Corridor --through three-year funding with a yearly renewal process that creates the capacity to meet immediate needs and effect long term community change within the areas of Education, Income, Health and Basic Needs.

Our grant funding model relies on a process that includes: researching the needs of the community, applying best practices from proven programs, identifying agency partners using a competitive funding process, and tracking implementation. Funded programs are reviewed annually by our panel of volunteers (Allocation Committees) with the expertise to make sure we are maximizing your contributions and achieving measurable results.

Proposals for the next allocation cycle will be solicited in May 2010. If you would like to be notified of the next request for proposals, email Jen Maseda or call 508-370-4831.
