Families in Massachusetts are still struggling with hunger, with more people in need than ever before. This community-driven project will benefit United Way of Tri-County food security programs which provide thousands of meals and groceries to our neighbors living in the MetroWest/495 corridor.
"Community Cooks: Recipes for a Reason" is a collection of crowd favorites and family recipes submitted by individuals, business members, local chefs, and restaurant owners, holding more than 370 recipes.
Local restaurants and chefs in particular were our biggest contributors, including Arturo's Ristorante in Westborough; TJ's Food and Spirits in Ashland; Coach Grill in Wayland; Jack's Abby Beer Hall and Kitchen in Framingham; Heritage of Sherborn; Exhibit "A" Brewing in Framingham; Firefly's BBQ in Marlborough; SKYBOKX 109 in Natick; Perk and Parcel in Westborough; Keefe Tech High School East Side Room Restaurant and Bakery in Framingham; Wicked Good Cookies in Boylston; and Yummy Mummy Bakery in Westborough.
Proceeds will support three United Way of Tri-County food pantries and hot meal programs.
If your restaurant would like to hold a cookbook sale promotion night, or if you have questions about submitting recipes, contact Sandra Baldi at 508-370-4873.
