United Way of Tri-County seeking Volunteer of the Year Award nominations

FRAMINGHAM - Nominations are now open for the United Way of Tri-County Volunteer of the Year and Youth Volunteer of the Year awards. Each year UWTC recognizes individuals in the MetroWest/495 Corridor whose dedicated volunteer service significantly contributes to the local community.
"Every year we celebrate a Youth Volunteer of the Year and Volunteer of the Year who exemplify the spirit of philanthropy through their dedication and willingness to serve the community," said Paul Mina, president and CEO. "We will continue our tradition of recognizing volunteers for their passion and hard work to create positive change in our communities."
Nominees do not need to be a United Way volunteer, but those nominated must show exceptional effort and commitment, working for others in their community.
A committee of volunteers will select an individual winner for both the Youth Volunteer and Volunteer of the Year awards. The two volunteers will be honored at the United Way's Annual Recognition Breakfast on April 6 at the Sheraton Hotel in Framingham.
More details and nomination forms can be found at
Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 17 and can be submitted online or by mail if postmarked by Feb. 17 to United Way Volunteer of the Year Review Committee, 46 Park St., Framingham, MA 01702.
