Pearl Street Café partnership provides meals to community with growing need

Shepherd Pie

Our Pearl Street Cupboard and Café focuses on feeding the hungry in Framingham and the Metro-West495 Corridor, but with the need growing in nearby Milford, we're now also providing hot meals to our neighbors there.

Three times a month, our team cooks and delivers a hearty dinner for 200 and delivers them to Milford's Trinity Episcopal Church, where those in need go Thursday nights for a “grab n’ go “ hot meal. Chef Vicki provides a varied menu with options like, Shepherd's Pie and Spicy Chicken with Beans Casserole, served with bread, butter and dessert.

Volunteers pack the meals "to go" and give them out as part of the Milford Community Meals program. We're glad to help fight food insecurity in the greater Milford region.

Our partnership started last year when we began providing 100 meals in Milford, twice a month. We're now serving 600 meals per month to help meet the increasing need.
