More Than a Food Pantry, A Beacon of Comprehensive Support

WHEAT Community Connections, operating since 1982 and part of the United Way of Tri-County since 2012, serves as a comprehensive support hub for residents in the Greater Clinton area. From the Community Cupboard and Café providing groceries and meals to the Outdoor Marketplace providing more access to food and reducing food waste, WHEAT ensures vital resources reach residents in need. Seasonal programs, thrift store, and partnership initiatives further enrich their services.

As a multi-service center, WHEAT's diverse programs address various aspects of community well-being, offering a holistic approach that extends beyond food assistance, embracing health, education, housing, and even pet care. This multifaceted support fosters a sense of unity and care, embodying the essence of community service
