Can you tell us about your organization? What programs do you offer?
The DAVIS Companies is a preferred source for Staffing Solutions and Talent Advisory Services, specializing in contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire staffing for Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, IT, Accounting and Finance personnel. With corporate headquarters in Marlborough, MA and offices in New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Georgia and Tennessee, we put great people to work in great companies.  Our Community service program, The DAVIS Impact Team, participates in local programs to help our local communities. We participate in food drives, backpack and holiday giving programs, pet supply drives to 5Ks, our employees focus on hands-on programs where we can make a difference.
How long have you been partnering with the United Way?
We've been working with The United Way for almost a decade. We support the food pantry with food drives, we've served food at the Cafe in Framingham. And we've done the backpack program and the Hope for the Holidays for almost that whole time.
What are the advantages of partnering with the United Way?
Working with the United Way, we know our donations – food and items – will find a good home in  our community. The United Way's partnership with many local service providers helps us make a difference but we can coordinate it all through one source. The local team make it very easy. They give us the items that are needed and our team members can get involved and know they are helping others.
If your organization supports the United Way, why is it important?
United Way is a great organization with boots on the ground to get help into the hands of those need it the most the quickest! We're thrilled to be aligned and working with and supporting this organization.
