GRANT WRITER PROGRAM SPECIALIST
 
The United Way of Tri-County, Inc. is seeking an experienced Grant Writer/Program Specialist to assist with the organization's future growth and development. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a grant writer/program specialist with a proven track record of success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Identifies appropriate funding opportunities
•    Drives proposal process from inception to completion
•    Prepares written materials to support strategic initiatives
•    Develops annual grant calendar to insure repeat funding
•    Acts as a steward of corporate statistics for use in fundraising efforts and various initiatives
 
 
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Food Pantry
 
The United Way of Tri-County is looking for an experienced individual to assist the Program Director with the daily details of a busy food pantry. Responsibilities include but not limited to the coordination of volunteers, the ability to accurately input large amounts of data and filing. This position will require dealing with the public on a daily basis, both clients and volunteers. Other projects will be assigned as necessary. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft office. Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese will be a definite advantage. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
 
 
 
WAREHOUSE TRUCK DRIVER – NON-CDL
 
The UNITED WAY of TRI-COUNTY is looking for a Warehouse Driver (NON-CDL) Full Time. We are offering a competitive hourly rate for this 35 hour per week position. Successful candidates must be reliable and work well with a great team. Ideal applicants will have:
  • A current, valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • A verifiable clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including box trucks, vans, 18 ft.-26 ft. delivery trucks – NO CDL or special licensing required
  • Forklift certification will be a definite advantage
  • Must have a clean criminal record and the ability to pass a background check
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES::
In this role you will coordinate and oversee program and office administrative duties.  You must enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and be able to multitask as you will function as the center of the operation. The successful candidate must be able to manage a changing environment and be technically proficient using Microsoft Office Suite including Google document sharing.  Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

The Food Pantry Associate is responsible for picking up, receiving, stocking, and distributing all food that comes into the Food Pantry and Cafe; ensuring all clients are treated with dignity and respect; managing all inventory; and ensuring a clean, safe and sanitary work environment.
