Why did you decide to become a member of the UWOTC Board of Directors, and what are your duties?
To help a great organization continue to make a positive impact in people’s lives; I am currently Board Chair.
 
What is your favorite part of being on the board?
The unreserved commitment of each board member to the United Way's mission and their collective energy and ideas to further the cause.

Why do you think it’s important for people to volunteer, and what’s your best advice for someone interested in volunteering?
Because you are doing something you believe in and for no other reason than to help the organization and the people it serves. Just jump in to help with your selected group you want to help.
 
If you work, can you tell us where and what you do for work? If you are retired, what did you do before?
I am owner and co-founder of Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects.
 
How does being on the UWOTC board help you engage with our local communities and give back?
I believe that being on the UWOTC Board helps me know more about the communities we serve, what the dire needs are and to help mobilize assistance for same.
 
What are some of the benefits of being a member of the UWOTC board?
I get to work with a fantastic and dedicated board and help an even more dedicated staff do their important work.

Travel, Photography, Read, Paint
