Suicide takes roughly 43,000 Americans each year,
15,000 deaths that are ruled to be by other causes were actually Suicide.

I worked in Suicide prevention for over 12 years. I helped countless amount of people live one more day. About 2 years ago I lost a close friend to Suicide. She died in my home to this day I am still haunted by her death. After her death I had to shut down my small business, I put on 40 lbs in 30 days I went through a breakdown of epic proportions. I was one of the lucky ones.
I had friends who were some of the best grief consular in the country supporting me, reach out to me. I was in a community where talking about suicide is not a stigma, talking is encouraged.
