We have been volunteering at WHEAT for over a decade

Do you volunteer regularly or occasionally?
We volunteer on a regular basis and every quarter

Why did you decide to volunteer?
We decided to volunteer because we like to take part in our community. Clinton Savings Bank's mission is to provide support to non-profit organizations' projects that will benefit the Greater Clinton area. The staff looks forward to volunteering and helping their neighbors in need.

How did you decide to volunteer with us?
For many years the Bank has had a strong tie to the United Way of Tri-County and we want to show our support however we can.

What do you do when you volunteer?
Clinton Savings Bank employees volunteer on a regular basis - and every quarter the staff goes in and prepares the meals and serves to those that stop in at the Café.

How does volunteering make you feel?
The staff feels proud to be associated and to volunteer for a wonderful non-profit like the United Way of Tri County - with our help and many others we are able to make our community stronger and healthier.

Why do you think it's important for people to volunteer?
It's important to help make your community a better place.

Tell us a story of a time when you knew your volunteering made a difference.
When you go to the Café and those individuals and families stop in for a meal and say, "Hi", and use your name and smile you know you are having a positive impact and making a difference in their lives.

What's your best advice for someone interested in volunteering?
If you can share your talents and like to put smiles on people’s faces and make friends, then contact the United Way of Tri County.
