Tell us about your company and what it does: We are a small family owned company that has been in business for over 45 years. We specialize in designing, engineering, and manufacturing of electronic temperature, humidity control and sensors. We make built-to-order products for use in many different industrial fields such as medical to food service.
What is your role in the company? I am production manager and I also handle administrative duties within our company.
Why is it important for your company to give back? We wanted to give back to our community in some small way because of the economic struggles currently going on due in part to COVID. We decided to help those who could use a helping hand this year.
Why did you choose to give to support Feed-A-Family this year? We wanted to find an organization that could use the funds in a meaningful way. Mulling over all our options, we decided that the Feed-A-Family program would be most helpful during the time of year when people want to celebrate but may not have the means to do so.
What would you say to other companies looking to get involved in or support local communities? No matter your size, you can always help in some way. With a lot of businesses struggling right now, many of them had to let people go or even had to close as a result of COVID. If you have the means to help pay it forward, every little bit can make a world of difference to so many people, not just during the holidays but throughout the year. We think it is important for businesses to help support their local communities. A lot of businesses rely on the community to help them stay productive, and in turn I think a business should help those when they are struggling.
Do you have any other comments you would like to add? While we have also felt the current economic hardships this year, our company wanted to help in some way.
