Why Is It Important for Avidia To Give Back?
Avidia Bank is a Community Bank and so it’s important to us to take care of our community. The Avidia Charitable Foundation has given over $1.5 million to more than 132 organizations in our community since its inception. In addition, the Bank also provides donations and sponsorships for community events and nonprofit partners and our employees volunteered over 2000 hours in 2019. It’s not just about getting our logo on a banner, it’s who we are, honestly proud for the goodness of our community.

One of the best ways we could support our community is by partnering with United Way of Tri-County and helping to provide valuable services to those that need it. Additionally, by offering a match, we’re asking those that can to also help and make a donation so we can all make a bigger impact, together.

There’s so many opportunities to get involved. Find ones that your organization is passionate about. It doesn’t always have to be a monetary donation either, there’s such a big need for volunteers and items like canned goods or clothing. By hosting a drive or having your employees volunteer, you can make a big impact!

United Way has always been a wonderful partner of Avidia Bank. They always come up with innovative ideas for helping our community raise awareness of their programs and donors and make it easy for us as an organization to distribute donations to a variety of organizations that help our community.
