We appreciate how our community is rallying to support so many people who unexpectedly need help meeting their basic needs. We want to do our part to pay it forward by thanking our first responders and medical teams who are working around the clock to provide care in our hospitals and communities. On Tuesday, April 14, United Way of Tri-County, in collaboration with Downtown Framingham Inc., sponsored “Meal for Medics. "Downtown Framingham Inc.’s “Meals for Medics” program nourishes front line healthcare workers at Framingham’s MetroWest Medical Center while creating business for downtown restaurants. With our main office located in downtown Framingham, we want to support our neighboring small business owners. In the current pandemic, all our healthcare workers are putting their lives on the line to keep us safe. They are risking their health and their family’s health to make sure the community at large is protected, and we are so appreciative of that. You are our heroes and we are grateful for your service!
