This year marks a major milestone for Mass211 - 20 years of serving as a trusted, compassionate connection for people across Massachusetts. To honor this anniversary, Mass211 will celebrate on February 10 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Statehouse, bringing together partners, leaders, and supporters to recognize two decades of impact and service.
At the heart of Mass211 are the dedicated call takers who answer the phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that no call for help goes unanswered. These professionals are often the first point of contact for individuals and families facing uncertainty, crisis, or difficult decisions. Their steady presence, empathy, and expertise have made Mass211 a lifeline for residents seeking help with food, housing, healthcare, mental health resources, and much more—always free, confidential, and available around the clock.
The celebration will also include a special moment of recognition as Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka presents Eileen Davis, newly promoted CEO of Mass211, with a proclamation declaring February 11, 2026 as “211 Day” in Massachusetts. This honor reflects the essential role Mass211 plays across the Commonwealth, from everyday guidance to critical support during emergencies. Whether responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping residents navigate the recent SNAP crisis, or assisting callers in their most vulnerable moments, Mass211 has consistently been there when Massachusetts needed it most.
