Framingham, MA - Eileen Davis has been promoted to chief executive officer at Mass211, a statewide information and referral line, according to a community announcement.

Davis, of Framingham, assumed her new role on Jan. 1. She had previously served as vice president since 2018, helping to expand access to critical services throughout the state.

Mass211 is a free, confidential service that connects residents to health and human services, according to the announcement. It was established in 2006 by consolidating seven First Call for Help programs into a single, centralized line. The service simplifies access to resources by providing one easy-to-remember number: 2-1-1.

The program is managed in partnership with the United Way of Tri-County, led by President and CEO Paul Mina. Mina served as executive director of Mass211 for 20 years, during which he modernized and expanded services statewide.
