How long have you been working at UWTC?

I have been working here for about a year.

What is your role at UWTC?

I am the Warehouse Supervisor at United Way Distribution Services but I’ve been working at the Pearl St. Cupboard during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is a typical day like for you at UWTC?

A typical day for me includes supervising all the volunteers and all aspects of their day. I maintain all the rules and policies and ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Another main aspect of my day is making grocery bags to be distributed at our food pantry.

What is your favorite part of working for UWTC?

My favorite part of working here is being able to help people and ensuring that everyone is happy.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I like spending time with my family. My Mom is the most important part of my life.

Do you do something to give back to your community?

I enjoy helping people who are less fortunate than me or who are unable to help themselves. I help a lot of my elderly neighbors right now, going shopping for them or to the pharmacy.

Do you have any other comments you would like to add?

I am grateful to be part of the United Way of Tri-County. I have learned a lot and I love sharing what I have learned. This is a great place to work!
