FRAMINGHAM – Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 ATHENA Leadership Award ® .
The Athena Leadership Award ® , which is bestowed locally by United Way of Tri-County (UWTC), will be awarded to a prominent leader in the MetroWest region who has volunteered to assist women and/or girls in achieving their full leadership potential outside of their daily job responsibilities.
“It gives us great pleasure to honor these exceptional leaders and community advocates who have worked hard to advance the status of women in the MetroWest community,” said Paul Mina, President & CEO of United Way of Tri-County.

Nominations must be received by Friday, October 19, 2018.
The nomination form, which includes award criteria,
is available on UWTC’s website (https://www.uwotc.org/AthenaNomination).
To enhance the candidate’s potential, it is extremely important that nominators complete the form in its entirety.
Nominees will be reviewed by a 5-member committee.
The Athena Leadership Award ® recipient will be announced on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at an evening event at the Sheraton Framingham.
